5-year-old killed by slitting throat in Bogura

Miscreants have killed a five-year-old boy by slitting his throat in Ghoradhap Shashipatani area under Bogura Sadar.

The deceased, Bandhan, son of Rabi Das of Pirgachha, was found with his throat slitted at a relative's house around 10am on Thursday.

Silimpur police outpost in-charge Lalon Hossain confirmed the news.

Severely injured Bandhan was rushed to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital where he was declared dead, said Lalon.

Police said the incident happened at the house of Bandhan's mother Kakoli's uncle. After the incident, all family members fled the area.

Police are investigating the matter.
