6 injured during July uprising off to Thailand for treatment
Six people injured in the July Revolution have been sent to Thailand for advanced treatment on Wednesday. They left on a Bangladesh Biman flight at 11 am.
The concerned said that the government is taking all necessary measures for advanced treatment of the July victims. In addition to bringing a medical team from abroad for their proper treatment, those who need to be taken abroad for treatment are being taken out of the country.
So far, 22 people have been sent abroad for treatment. Six people are being sent to Thailand in this series.
Of the six people being sent, three were undergoing treatment at CMH and three at Dhaka Medical College Hospital. They are being taken to Bangkok Hospital in Thailand.
The three people undergoing treatment at CMH are Mohammad Israfil (15), Roman Dhali (17) and Tahsin Hossain (13). All three were injured in the gunshots during the movement. Mohammad Israfil was shot in the left hand, resulting in the complete destruction of the nerve in his left hand. Along with this, the bones are broken. He is being taken mainly for robotic physiotherapy.
Roman Dhali and Tahsan Hossain were shot in the back. This has caused their spinal cord injury. They are unable to walk. They are being sent mainly for robotic physiotherapy.
Rajib (36), who is undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College, was shot in the head, but his condition has not improved even after the operation, so he is being sent. Mizanur Rahman was shot in the face. The condition of his face has changed. In this condition, he is being sent for surgery.
Hafizur Rahman Habib suffered a spinal cord injury in the police firing. He is being taken to Bangkok Hospital for robotic physiotherapy.
Earlier yesterday, Imran Hossain and Mohiuddin were sent to Singapore Hospital for eye treatment. Earlier, seven people were sent to Singapore Hospital for eye treatment.
Health Advisor Personal Officer Dr. Mahmudul Hasan will be present at the airport to bid farewell to the injured on Wednesday.
