A K M Asaduzzaman, Farah Mahbub appointed as judges of Appellate Division

High Court Division Justice A K M Asaduzzaman and Justice Farah Mahbub have been appointed as judges of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court.

The President appointed them as judges of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court on Monday (March 24).

This was announced in a notification signed by Sheikh Abu Taher, Secretary of the Law and Justice Division (Judiciary Branch-4) of the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs on Monday.

The appointment notification states that the President of the of Bangladesh, by virtue of the powers conferred by Clause (1) of Article 15 of the Constitution, has appointed Justice A K M Asaduzzaman and Justice Farah Mahbub as the Judge of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court. It further states that this appointment will be effective from the date of taking the oath.
