Abu Tawhid Hiron, young director of movie "Adam" released on last year's Eid-ul-Fitr, has passed away. He was 38.

He was found dead in his Moghbazar flat in Dhaka on Monday morning.

Confirming the matter, Deputy Secretary General of Parichalak Samiti Apurbo Rana said: "Hiron called the caretaker of the building and informed him about severe chest pain around 4am."

Later, the caretaker found him dead when he broke open the doors of Hiron's flat with the help of neighbours.

The young filmmaker might have succumbed to a cardiac arrest, said Rana.

Hiron, originally from Khalishpur, Khulna, directed the film "Adam", starring Yash Rohan, Jannatul Ferdous Oishee, Raisul Islam Asad, and Shahiduzzaman Selim in leading roles. The shooting of his another film titled "Wrong Road", had recently been completed.
