Advance train ticket sale for Eid to begin Sunday

On the occasion of the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr, Bangladesh Railway will start the advance sale of train tickets from Sunday (March 24).

The railway authorities fixed the date considering April 10 will be the Eid day, according to Bangladesh Railway sources. The authorities have already completed the preparations for selling tickets.

During Eid, tickets are sold in advance for five days. However, it has been increased to seven days this time.

The Tickets will be available on the railway website (https://eticket.railway.gov.bd/) and mobile app from 8.00am on Sunday. The train tickets for April 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 will be available on March 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30 respectively.

Apart from this, 25% of tickets will be available at the station counters before the start of the journey on the request of general passengers.
