Air Arabia flight makes emergency landing with 198 passengers onboard
An Air Arabia flight carrying 198 passengers and crew narrowly avoided an accident after experiencing a technical malfunction at Chattogram Shah Amanat International Airport on Friday (May 10).
The aircraft landed at the runway later and remained stranded for around 12 minutes before it was removed from there.
The Airport Director Group Captain Taslim Ahmed confirmed the matter. He said, "The Air Arabia flight from Dubai was scheduled to land at the airport with 191 passengers and seven crews at 8:40am. It got its hydraulic fluid, uses to move various components like brakes and landing gear, emptied before landing."
"The aircraft remained stranded for around 12 minutes. All the passengers and crews, however, disembarked safely later", he added.
