All anti-independence forces including BNP will be resisted: Quader

Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader today termed BNP as 'anti-independence terrorist force'.

He said, "We will confront all hostile entities, including BNP, who oppose independence. Those hindering the consolidation of our triumph will be overcome. Our struggle will continue to advance."

Quader made these remarks following his homage to the portrait of the Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, at Dhanmondi No. 32, marking the historic Mujibnagar Day on Wednesday (April 17).

AL General Secretary said, "The hindrance to solidifying our victory is communal terrorist entities like BNP. This force must be defeated and resisted."

"This Mujibnagar Day holds immense historical significance in our national narrative. On this day, we pledge to uphold the spirit of the liberation war and continue our journey towards realizing Bangabandhu's vision of a Sonar Bangla under the leadership of Bangabandhu's daughter, Sheikh Hasina. We are committed to transforming Bangabandhu's dream into a reality, leading to a developed and prosperous Bangladesh, and ultimately, to a Delta Bengal by 2100," he added.
