All reports of Khaleda Zia to be available by Friday: Dr Zahid

All medical test reports of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia, who is undergoing treatment at 'The Clinic' in London, will be available by next Friday, said her personal physician and BNP Standing Committee member Dr AZM Zahid Hossain.

Speaking at a regular briefing at 3:30pm local time in London on Monday (January 13), he said, “Doctors are examining different aspects of her (Khaleda Zia) health every day, including nephrology, hepatology and liver transplant. Some changes are being made based on the test reports. Besides, the doctors have now made some changes to the treatments she received in Bangladesh in the past. The test reports of Khaleda Zia's liver disease and heart problems are yet to be received.”

Dr Zahid said, “It may take time until next Friday to get all the medical test reports of Khaleda Zia. By Friday, the doctors will try to make a plan for the next treatment. The doctors are now making all the changes that need to be made very quickly in the treatment.”

Among others, UK BNP President MA Malek and General Secretary Kaysar M Ahmed were present at the briefing.
