Another dies due to gas cylinder explosion in Gazipur

Another person died due to burns in gas cylinder explosion incident in Gazipur. The deceased is identified as Mansoor Akon (30). With this, the death toll stood at two.

Dr. Hossain Imam Imu, assistant director of Sheikh Hasina Burn Institute, confirmed the matter.

Dr. Hossain Imam said, "One person named Mansoor died in the ICU on Saturday morning in the explosion incident in Gazipur. 100% of his body was burnt."

Earlier on Friday (March 15) morning, one person named Sulaiman Molla (45) died, and one named Azizul was released.

According to the Burn Institute doctors, a total of 29 people who were burnt are still admitted to the institute.

Earlier on Wednesday, an explosion occurred due to gas cylinder leakage at Shafiqul Islam Khan's house in Telirchala area of Kaliakore, Gazipur. Health Minister Dr. Samant Lal Sen said on Thursday that the condition of all of them is critical.
