Army defeats Navy to become champions

Bangladesh Army became the champion in the BRAC EPL Stock Brokerage Limited Corporate Amateur Cricket T20 format. In the final match, the team defeated Bangladesh Navy by 5 wickets.

The match, held at the Police Staff College Ground, saw the Navy winning the toss and opting to bat first. The Navy scored 176 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Bashar Ali played a devastating innings, scoring 71 runs off 40 balls. Alimul Islam contributed 20 runs. For the Army, Hasan Mahmud Sourav, Asad Mia, and Nabab Islam each took two wickets.

In response, the Army secured victory with a dominant performance led by Rahat Mallik's explosive innings of 56 runs off 30 balls. They chased down the target in 18.3 overs, with 5 wickets remaining. Kamrul Hasan remained unbeaten on 37 runs, and Faisal Kabir contributed 33 runs. Rahat Mallik was named the player of the match.

Meanwhile, in the T-40 format league match on Saturday, the Sena Kallyan Sangstha emerged victorious. Winning the toss at BKSP, they sent the Air Force in to bat. Thanks to tight bowling by Bariul Musabbir Pritam and Abu Saeed Kazi, the Air Force was bowled out for 104 runs in 32 overs. Mohammad Zulfikar top-scored with 29 runs, and Tariqul Islam Sagar scored 22 runs. Pritam took 4 wickets for 21 runs, while Abu Saeed Kazi claimed 2 wickets for 12 runs.

In response, Ahmed Aman Abir's 57 runs off 47 balls guided Sena Kallyan Sangstha to victory in 18.5 overs, with 7 wickets remaining. Pritam, who took 4 wickets, was named the player of the match.
