Arsenal dominate Man City with 5-1 victory
Arsenal delivered a statement win by thrashing Manchester City 5-1 at the Emirates, closing the gap to Premier League leaders Liverpool to six points.
Martin Odegaard opened the scoring in the 2nd minute before Erling Haaland equalized in the 55th. Arsenal responded instantly as Thomas Partey’s deflected shot restored their lead. City, previously unbeaten in six league games, struggled to contain Arsenal’s attacking intensity. The Gunners, now unbeaten in 14 matches, sit second with 50 points from 24 games, while City remain fourth with 41.
