Ashrafuzzaman Siddiqui appointed as new DG of BGB

Major General Mohammad Ashrafuzzaman Siddiqui has been appointed as the new Director General (DG) of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB). He will replace outgoing Major General AKM Nazmul Hasan.

The Ministry of Public Administration issued a circular in this regard on Tuesday (January 30).

Major General AKM Nazmul Hasan, who was the Director General of Border Guard Force BGB, has been taken back to the army. That is why his job has been assigned to the Armed Forces Department.
