Kazi Nazrul Islam's biography, literature to be translated into Chinese: Dong Yuchen

Dong Yuchen, a professor at the Centre for South Asia Studies Department of Beijing Foreign Studies University, said I have translated the works of great Bengali writers including Rabindranath Tagore and Sarat Chandra into Chinese, and now I will publish the biography of the rebel poet Kazi Nazrul Islam and his selected poems in Chinese translation.

Book Fair sales estimated at Tk40 crore

At this year's Amar Ekushey Book Fair, organized by Bangla Academy, sales data has been received from 351 out of the 703 participating institutions. These 351 publishing houses reported sales totaling approximately Tk20 crore. Bangla Academy estimates that the overall sales, including those from the remaining publishers, will amount to around Tk40 crore.
