In protest of the recent incident involving the dishonoring of the national anthem in Shahbagh, general students of Dhaka University gathered at the base of the Raju Memorial Sculpture and sang the national anthem in unison.
A segment of student demonstrators and injured participants from the July Uprising continue their sit-in at Shahbagh intersection, demanding a permanent ban on the Awami League, implementation of the July Declaration, and advanced medical treatment for the injured.
