Bailey Road fire: ‘Chayer Chumuk’s owners, Kacchi Bhai’s manager arrested

The members of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) have arrested two owners of Chayer Chumuk restaurant and the manager of Kacchi Bhai restaurant in connection with the fire on Bailey Road in the capital.

The arrestees are-Anwarul Haque and Shakeel Ahmed Rimon, the owners of Chayer Chumuk, and Jisan, the manager of Kacchi Bhai.

A massive fire erupted in a seven-storey commercial building at Bailey Road in the capital on Thursday night. A total of 46 people were killed in this accident so far. At least 22 people were seriously injured.

Among the dead, 41 bodies have been identified. Out of this, 38 bodies have been handed over to their relatives.
