The twelfth National Parliament elections in Bangladesh have gained significance in the international media. Alongside coverage in the country's media, the international media has also disseminated news and analyses of the election. The majority of international news outlets have highlighted Sheikh Hasina's return to power.

These reports have highlighted that several parties, including the lenient Awami League, are participating in today's national election. However, many opposition parties, including the main opposition party BNP, have boycotted the election. Under the administration of the caretaker government, different parties have implemented various agendas in their election campaigns.

According to the Qatar-based news outlet Al Jazeera, it has been reported that "Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has cast her vote after the opening of the polling centers. In the controversial election, the main opposition party is boycotting, and she is on track to win for the fourth consecutive term."

The influential news outlet BBC from the United Kingdom states, "Since the day before Bangladesh's election, there has been a wave of violence in the country. Various forms of violence, including arson on trains, are ongoing. Most opposition parties are boycotting the election, where Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is set to win for the fourth consecutive term."

U.S.-based Financial Times says there is growing concern about the prospect of one-party rule in Bangladesh."

Reuters, the British news agency, reports that in the general elections in Bangladesh, the Awami League-led alliance is on track to form the government for the fourth consecutive term, with Sheikh Hasina expressing optimism about victory in the polls.

The Khaleej Times, based in the United Arab Emirates, reports that amid violence by the main opposition party's boycott and ahead of the election, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is set to win for the fourth consecutive term in the general election, securing a comprehensive victory in the fifth term.

Anandabazar writes, 'Joyful Hasina with a maritime victory.' Expressing optimism through her vote, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina declares her faith in the people of the country. She is confident that her party will emerge victorious.

In addition, Indian media outlets are regularly publishing opinion-based articles alongside regular news coverage on the elections in Bangladesh.
