Bangladesh has recorded 13 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours. However, no one died during this period, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS). According to a press release, 223 samples have been tested with antigen tests in the last 24 hours. The detection rate per 100 samples is 5.83. A total of 20,46,724 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus in the country so far. The death toll from the disease remained at 29,479.

গত ২৪ ঘন্টায় দেশে আরও ১৩ জনের করোনাভাইরাস শনাক্ত হয়েছে। শুক্রবার (১৯ জানুয়ারি) সকাল ৮টা থেকে শনিবার (২০ জানুয়ারি) সকাল ৮টা পর্যন্ত নমুনা পরীক্ষায় এসব করোনা রোগী শনাক্ত হয়। তবে এই সময়ের মধ্যে কেউ মারা যায়নি বলে জানিয়েছে স্বাস্থ্য অধিদপ্তর। স্বাস্থ্য অধিদপ্তরের সংবাদ বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে বলা হয়, গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় অ্যান্টিজেন টেস্টসহ ২২৩টি নমুনা পরীক্ষা করা হয়েছে। প্রতি ১০০ নমুনায় শনাক্তের হার ৫ দশমিক ৮৩ শতাংশ। স্বাস্থ্য অধিদপ্তর জানায়, দেশে এখন পর্যন্ত ২০ লাখ ৪৬ হাজার ৭২৪ জনের দেহে করোনাভাইরাস ধরা পড়েছে। এর মধ্যে মারা গেছেন ২৯ হাজার ৪৭৯ জন। এখন পর্যন্ত মোট করোনা রোগী শনাক্তের হার ১৩ দশমিক ০৯ এবং মৃত্যুর হার ১ দশমিক ৪৪ শতাংশ।
