The Bangladesh cricket team will tour Pakistan on May 21 to play a five-match T20 series. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has already finalized the schedule for the matches.

The matches are scheduled for May 25, 27, and 30, and June 1 and 3. Under the original Future Tours Programme (FTP), Bangladesh and Pakistan were to play three ODIs and three T20s, but with the T20 World Cup approaching next year, both boards agreed to replace the ODIs with two extra T20 matches.

The T20 series will take place in Lahore and Faisalabad. This series marks the return of international cricket to Faisalabad after 17 years. The first three matches will be played at Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad, which recently hosted the Champions One Day Cup last September and the National T20 tournament last month.

Between 1978 and 2008, the venue hosted 24 Test matches and 16 T20 games. It was also included in the schedule for the Pakistan vs. Bangladesh ODI series in April 2008. The final two matches of the upcoming T20 series will be played at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium.
