In the Antigua Test against the West Indies, Bangladesh had to score 251 runs to avoid the follow-on, but they faced a tough battle. The West Indies' disciplined bowling and consistent wickets kept the pressure on, and Bangladesh ended the third day at 269/9.

Bangladesh is still trailing by 181 runs, with the West Indies having scored 450 runs in their first innings. Resuming the second day at 40/2, Bangladesh managed to avoid the follow-on thanks to valuable contributions from Zakir Ali Anik (53), Mominul Haque (50), Litton Kumar Das (40), Taijul Islam (25), and captain Mehidy Hasan Miraz (23).

For the West Indies, Alzarri Joseph took three wickets, while Jayden Seales and Justin Greaves each captured two wickets.

Although Bangladesh managed to avoid the follow-on, they remain in a precarious position, trailing by 181 runs with just one wicket left. It appears the West Indies are still on course for a commanding lead.
