Bangladesh under pressure despite avoiding follow-on

Resuming the second day at 40/2, Bangladesh managed to avoid the follow-on thanks to valuable contributions from Zakir Ali Anik (53), Mominul Haque (50), Litton Kumar Das (40), Taijul Islam (25), and captain Mehidy Hasan Miraz (23).

For the West Indies, Alzarri Joseph took three wickets, while Jayden Seales and Justin Greaves each captured two wickets.

Although Bangladesh managed to avoid the follow-on, they remain in a precarious position, trailing by 181 runs with just one wicket left. It appears the West Indies are still on course for a commanding lead.
