Bangladesh will jointly build a satellite with India: Palak
State Minister for Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak has said that Bangladesh will jointly build a small satellite with the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO).
He revealed the information while talking to reporters after a courtesy meeting with French Ambassador Marie Masdupuy at the Secretariat in the capital on Monday (June 24).
He said, “ISRO is doing very well and Chandrayaan-3 has also successfully landed on the moon. We will jointly build a small satellite with them. The ISRO will donate around Tk 50 crore and 50 of our boys and girls will visit ISRO. We will work with their business wing, do research work and jointly design the construction of the satellite.”
“We will launch it together. It will be the earth observatory geo special satellite which will have a duration of 5-6 years,” he added.
