A Bangladeshi youth, Abdur Rahim Roni (22), tragically lost his life in a road accident in Saudi Arabia. He died at Al Qasim General Hospital around 12:15pm on Wednesday (September 2) after sustaining serious injuries in a crash the previous night while traveling from his workplace in Riyadh to Dammam. Roni, the only son of Joynal Abedin Jony from Raikot village in Nangalkot upazila. His uncle, Master Zafar Ahmed, said, ‘Roni worked at a hotel in Riyadh. On Tuesday night, while being transported to a hotel in Dammam, the driver fell asleep, causing a collision with a freight trolley. Roni sustained severe injuries and later died in the hospital.’

সৌদি আরবে সড়ক দুর্ঘটনায় আব্দুর রহিম রনি নামে (২২) এক যুবক নিহত হয়েছেন। বুধবার দুপুর পৌনে ১২টার দিকে সৌদি আরবের আলকাছিম জেনারেল হাসপাতালে তার মৃত্যু হয়। এর আগে মঙ্গলবার রাতে তার কর্মস্থল রিয়াদ থেকে দাম্মাম যাওয়ার পথে আলকাছিম নামক স্থানে সড়ক দুর্ঘটনায় রনি গুরুতরভাবে আহত হন। এ সময় পুলিশ তাকে উদ্ধার করে স্থানীয় আলকাছিম জেনারেল হাসপাতালের আইসিইউতে ভর্তি করে। পরে তার মৃত্যু হয়।&nbsp; আব্দুর রহিম রনি কুমিল্লার নাঙ্গলকোট উপজেলার রায়কোট গ্রামের জয়নাল আবেদীন জনির একমাত্র ছেলে। ঘটনার সত্যতা নিশ্চিত করেছেন&nbsp;রনির চাচা&nbsp;মাস্টার জাফর আহম্মদ আপন।
