Bangladeshi short film 'Ali' has received special recognition at the 78th Cannes International Film Festival.
The film, directed by Adnan Al Rajib, has been honoured in the "Special Mention" category of the short film section. The winners were announced on the closing day of the festival.

A teenager growing up in such an environment participates in a local singing competition and dreams of moving to the city from there. However, there is a mystery behind his singing this song. Al Amin plays the title character in the film.
