The El Clasico delivered on all fronts, full of excitement, goals, and intense counterattacks. On Sunday night (May 11), football fans were treated to a thrilling encounter, echoing the drama of historic matches, with five goals scored in the opening 34 minutes, reminiscent of a 1922 clash.

The match unfolded in spectacular fashion at the Estadio Olímpico Lluís Companys in Spain, where Real Madrid and Barcelona netted five goals in just 34 minutes. By halftime, the score had reached 6 goals, and a second-half strike brought the total to seven in this thrilling encounter. Barcelona emerged victorious with a 4-3 win, taking another step closer to claiming the La Liga title.

Barcelona's thrilling El Clasico win brought them closer to securing the La Liga title. With 82 points from 35 matches, they now sit at the top of the table, leaving Real Madrid behind with 75 points. Barcelona needs just one more win from their remaining three matches to claim the title, while Real Madrid's hopes now rest on a miracle.

Real Madrid came out strong from the beginning, quickly dominating with aggressive play and scoring two goals in the first 14 minutes. Kylian Mbappé was the hero, netting both goals—one from a penalty and the other from a pass by Vinícius.

But Barcelona responded swiftly, pulling one back just five minutes later as Eric García scored from a corner kick. They then turned the game around, with Lamine Yamal and Raphinha scoring in quick succession to give Barcelona a 3-2 lead. Raphinha added another before halftime, making it 4-2.

In the second half, Mbappé completed his hat-trick, but it wasn’t enough to shift the momentum. Real Madrid had another opportunity to score, but Fermín López’s goal was ruled out due to a handball.

This victory marked Barcelona's fourth win over Real Madrid this season, following their Copa del Rey final triumph. After the match, Barcelona’s star Yamal proudly declared, "This season, they (Real Madrid) couldn't stop us."
