BCS, BRACNet jointly organize Iftar for ICT professionals

Bangladesh Computer Society (BCS) and BRACNet Limited jointly organized an Iftar for ICT professionals at the BCS office in Kalyanpur on Saturday (March 22).

BRACNet Limited sponsored the programme.

The program was attended by top ICT professionals from the country and exchanged views on various technological developments and future prospects.

In addition, BCS and BRACNet jointly distributed Iftar among underprivileged children and the general public, which was conducted as part of their social responsibility.

Md. Mokarram Hossain, General Manager and Head of Operations at BRACNet Limited, stated:
“Our partnership with the Bangladesh Computer Society reflects our commitment to the growth of the country’s ICT sector. We are delighted with the success of the Iftar program and the opportunity to exchange insights with both senior and emerging ICT professionals. Professor Dr. Engr. Mohammad Shamsul Arefin, President of Bangladesh Computer Society and Dean of the ECE Faculty at CUET, said: “BRACNet’s sponsorship significantly contributed to the success of our Iftar program. Collaboration between industry and academia is essential for technological advancement, and we will continue to encourage such partnerships in the future.”

Speakers fro. BRACNet said they plan to continue working on technological innovation by engaging with key stakeholders in the industry in the future. The panelists felt that such initiatives will further strengthen the relationship between industry and academia and contribute to the digital transformation of Bangladesh.
