Beauty Service Owners of Bangladesh (BSOAB) is organizing the first ever Hair and Beauty Fest in Bangladesh to empower women involved in the beauty industry.

The president of the organization Kaniz Almas Khan said, "We are determined to help women to be independent, self-reliant and confident."

Kaniz Almas Khan announced the country's first Hair and Beauty Fest 2024 in a press conference at the Daily Star Seminar Hall on Monday (February 29).

Hair and Beauty Fest 2024 will be held on February 11 and 12 with the aim to empowering aspiring women in the country's beauty industry through proper education and training. The two-day event will be held from 10 am to 8 pm at ICCB Hall 3 in the capital.

BSOAB General Secretary Sumna Hasan said, "Hair and Beauty Fest 2024 is being organized not only to improve the skills of our members but also to support the underprivileged women who want to join the beauty industry. We seek everyone's cooperation to break down all barriers and pave the way for a more diverse and prosperous future for our members."

The main programme of the event will include fashion shows, live demonstrations by domestic and foreign hair and beauty experts, special exhibitions featuring the latest trends, discussions on business obstacles and challenges, and awards to recognize outstanding players in the beauty industry, the press conference said.

The press conference also informed that BSOAB is having a positive impact on the socio-economics of the country by providing skills and assistance and empowering those working in the beauty industry.

The organization works to ensure a future where unlimited sustainable opportunities are created by providing better education and appropriate training to its members.

The organization's commitment to breaking down barriers and promoting inclusive activities is playing a strategic role in shaping a more prosperous and promising future for the country's beauty industry.
