Former MPof Bhola-2 constituency Mukul has been arrested by RAB. Ali Azam Mukul (55), one of the accused in the murder case of Nahidul Islam who was killed during the anti-discrimination student movement. He was arrested from the Hazaribagh area of ​​the capital at 7:30 pm on Wednesday (November 13). Assistant Director of RAB-2 ASP Shihab Karim confirmed this information. He said that Nahidul Islam was killed in the Mirpur area of ​​the capital on July 19 during the anti-discrimination student movement. Former MP Ali Azam Mukul is one of the accused in the murder case. A team of RAB-2 arrested him on Wednesday evening.

বৈষম্যবিরোধী ছাত্র আন্দোলনে নাহিদুল ইসলাম হত্যা মামলার অন্যতম আসামি ভোলা-২ আসনের সাবেক সংসদ সদস্য আলী আজম মুকুল (৫৫)। বুধবার (১৩ নভেম্বর) সন্ধ্যা সাড়ে ৭টায় রাজধানীর হাজারীবাগ এলাকা থেকে তাকে গ্রেপ্তার করে র‍্যাব-২। র‍্যাব-২ এর সহকারী পরিচালক এএসপি শিহাব করিম এ তথ্য নিশ্চিত করেছেন। তিনি জানান, বৈষম্যবিরোধী ছাত্র আন্দোলন চলাকালে গত ১৯ জুলাই রাজধানীর মিরপুর এলাকায় নিহত হয় নাহিদুল ইসলাম। ওই ঘটনায় করা হত্যা মামলার অন্যতম আসামি সাবেক সংসদ সদস্য আলী আজম মুকুল। আজ সন্ধ্যায় তাকে গ্রেপ্তার করে র‌্যাব-২ এর একটি দল।
