BNP attends Jamaat's iftar party after 8 years

After eight years, BNP leaders joined the Iftar party organized by Jamaat-e-Islami. The Iftar party was organized at the ballroom of Hotel Pan Pacific Sonargaon in the capital on Saturday (March 30).

Before the Iftar, Jamaat Ameer Shafiqur Rahman highlighted the current situation of the country and urged everyone to raise their voice.

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia joined Jamaat's Iftar at Hotel Sonargaon Hotel in 2015 last time.

In 2016, the Jamaat organized an Iftar party but was canceled due to police restrictions. Since then, the party has not been seen holding an iftar party on such a large scale.
