BNP has always rescued Bangladesh from crises: Fakhrul

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul said, we have to be vigilant and alert. Because BNP is the only party that has stood up to the country's dangers every time. It has always rescued Bangladesh from all crises.

He said, today such a crisis has arisen, our revolutionary army, they are being tried to be controversial. Which we cannot accept.

He said this at a discussion meeting organized at the Institution of Engineers (IEB) on Tuesday (March 25) afternoon. BNP organized this discussion meeting on the occasion of the great Independence Day.

The BNP Secretary General said, some new social media groups have emerged. I don't know where they want to take Bangladesh. Their language, sentences and statements completely lead Bangladesh towards anarchy. They do not want the country to move towards democracy.

He further said, "We can never allow those who protect our country and stand by us in times of crisis to be controversial." Stating that the interim government is piling up a huge mountain of reforms, the former minister said, "There are many issues that our people do not even understand. That is why we have answered every question on their reform proposals from our party. We have also stated whether we agree or disagree with them. We have emphasized that there is no alternative to elections. We have to go to democracy through elections. That is democracy. We do not know of any system other than democracy that can benefit the people."
