BNP, leaders of ethnic minority communities holds discussions

A discussion meeting was held between BNP and leaders of ethnic minority communities on Saturday at the party chairperson’s office in Gulshan, where they met with BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir.

The meeting was attended by Bijon Kanti Sarkar, member of the BNP Chairperson's Advisory Council and Chairman of the Hindu-Buddhist-Christian Welfare Front, along with representatives from various ethnic minority communities.

During the meeting, Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said: "Based on the Bangladeshi nationalism of the martyred President Ziaur Rahman, equal opportunities must be created for all citizens to live.”

He added: “With this goal, we must work unitedly for the disadvantaged communities. You will continue to work from your respective positions."
