Carrying rawhide in metro rail banned

Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) has imposed new rules for metro rail passengers on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.

In addition to other restrictions, it has banned carrying rawhide of sacrificial animals and raw or cooked meat in Metro Rail during the Eid.

DMTCL Managing Director MAN Siddique came up with this information at his office on Thursday.

He said rawhide and raw or cooked meat cannot be carried in metro rail. Other restrictions that are already in place will also remain in place.

Besides, the managing director also said that the metro rail will remain closed on Eid day.
