A convening committee, led by Hasnat Abdullah, has been established for the anti-discrimination student movement following discussions with the movement's coordinator and co-coordinators. The announcement was made during a press conference held at Central Shaheed Minar at 8.00pm today (October 22). The committee also includes Arif Sohail as member secretary, Abdul Hannan Masood as chief organizer, and Umama Fatema as spokesperson.

হাসনাত আব্দুল্লাহকে আহ্বায়ক করে বৈষম্যবিরোধী ছাত্র আন্দোলনের আহ্বায়ক কমিটি গঠন করা হয়েছে। এতে সদস্য সচিব হিসেবে আছেন আরিফ সোহেল, মুখ্য সংগঠক আব্দুল হান্নান মাসুদ এবং মুখপাত্র উমামা ফাতেমা। মঙ্গলবার (২২ অক্টোবর) রাত ৮টায় কেন্দ্রীয় শহীদ মিনারে আয়োজিত এক সংবাদ সম্মেলনে এই কমিটির ঘোষণা দেওয়া হয়। বৈষম্যবিরোধী ছাত্র আন্দোলনের সমন্বয়ক ও সহ-সমন্বয়কদের সঙ্গে আলোচনা করে এই কমিটি গঠন করা হয়েছে বলে জানানো হয়েছে।
