Copa America: Brazil announce squad
Brazil's head coach Dorival Júnior has announced the 23-man squad for the 2024 CONMEBOL Copa America tournament in the United States. However, notable players has been left out of the team.
The Brazilian squad will be without one of its biggest stars, Neymar, who is currently playing for Saudi Club Al Hilal and recovering from a torn ACL. Neymar suffered the injury during Brazil's 2-0 win over Uruguay last October.
In addition to Neymar, the Brazilian squad had some significant absences, including Arsenal forward Gabriel Jesus, Tottenham's Richarlison and Manchester United's Casemiro.
Brazil will play in Group D against Costa Rica, Colombia and Paraguay with their first match against Costa Rica on June 24.
