Crowds flock to entertainment spots on Eid’s second day
Eid celebrations continue in full swing as families and friends flock to entertainment centers on the second day of the festival.
With the capital and industrial areas largely empty due to the extended holiday, many are taking advantage of the traffic-free roads to enjoy quality time at various amusement parks and tourist spots in Savar and Dhamrai.
To enhance the festive spirit, parks and recreational centers have been adorned with vibrant decorations, offering special packages and low-cost attractions for visitors of all ages. The lively atmosphere is evident at Fantasy Kingdom in Jamgora, Ashulia, where children and teenagers are enjoying thrilling rides such as roller coasters and magic carpets. Many visitors are capturing joyous moments on their mobile phones, making memories with loved ones.
Other popular spots, including the National Memorial, Jamuna Park, Nila Borsha Park, Nandan Park, and several garden houses in Dhamrai, have also witnessed a massive turnout, with crowds pouring in since the morning.
Sohel Hossain, a visitor to Fantasy Kingdom, expressed his satisfaction with the arrangements, saying, "This year, everything feels much safer and more organized. We are having a great time without any hassle."
Sumona Akhter, who came from Tongi, Gazipur, to visit the park with friends and family, shared her excitement: "I was under pressure from my studies, but with the college closed for Eid, this was the perfect opportunity to unwind. The security presence has made it easier to enjoy the day without any worries."
Ensuring a safe and pleasant experience for all, the Tourism Police have deployed special teams, particularly to assist women and families.
Ripon, sub-inspector of the North Zone of the Tourism Police, stated, "We are maintaining strict vigilance to ensure a safe and harassment-free environment for all visitors. Security measures have also been strengthened on roads and highways."
