Daytime temperature may rise

According to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD), the weather is forecasted to stay mostly dry with occasional partly cloudy skies across the country. Daytime temperatures could see a rise of 1-2 degrees Celsius, while nighttime temperatures may experience a slight increase.

As per a weather bulletin released this morning, there is a possibility of rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally winds in various regions spanning Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barisal, and Sylhet divisions over the next 24 hours, commencing from 9:00 am today.

On Saturday, the country experienced a maximum temperature of 35.5 degrees Celsius, recorded jointly at Ishurdi and Chuadanga. Meanwhile, the minimum temperature today was reported as 21.2 degrees Celsius in Tetulia.

During the past 24 hours until 6:00 am today, Hatiya experienced rainfall measuring 31mm. Today, the sun is anticipated to set at 6:33 pm, and it will rise again at 5:17 am tomorrow in the capital.
