DB picks up Barrister Andaleeve Rahman for Inquiry

Bangladesh Jatiya Party (BJP) Chairman Barrister Andaleeve Rahman Partho has been detained.

Harun-Or-Rashid, chief of Dhaka Metropolitan Detective Police (DB) confirmed the detention.

He said the former member of parliament was detained around 1:00am on Thursday from his residence in Gulshan.

"He was detained based on allegations of inciting violence during the quota reform protests," Harun-Or-Rashid added.
