Dense fog prevents 11 flights from landing at HSIA
Eleven international flights were unable to land at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport due to dense fog early on Tuesday. They started landing after the fog lifted at around 8am.
HSIA Executive Director Group Captain M Kamrul Islam said fog started to blanket the airport at around 2am on Tuesday. It kept getting more and more dense, which is why 11 flights could not land at the HSIA.
