Dhaka Rock Fest returns after 2 years

One of the country’s biggest band music events, Dhaka Rock Fest, is all set to return to stage after a gap of two years.

Dhaka Rock Fest was last held on December 27 and 28, 2022, at the Expo Zone of the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB). The two-day grand event featured 32 popular Bangladeshi bands, including renowned names like Warfaze, Arthohin, Meghdol, Artcell, Nemesis, Avoid Rafa, and Cryptic Fate. The massive turnout of the audience added extra excitement to the festival.

Although more than two years have passed, the event has not been held again until now. The long wait is about to end. Dhaka’s beloved rock music festival is on its way to being organised once more.

Doza Elan, executive of the organising company Sky Tracker, has confirmed the matter to the media, stating that preparations have begun for the new edition. Details will be announced soon. Like before, this Rock Fest will feature only local bands.

There will be the intoxication of rhythm and melody, a storm of guitars and drums, and a unique musical experience for the audience. This year’s festival will also include some of the most popular bands of the time.
