DU administration, seven college principals holds emergency meeting

An emergency meeting of Dhaka University administration and seven college principals has begun in the wake of the situation arising after the clash between students of the two institutions.

The meeting began at 12:30 pm on Monday in a meeting room adjacent to the office of Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Professor Niaz Ahmed.

Dhaka University Vice Chancellor Professor Niaz Ahmed, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Administration) Saima Haque Bidisha, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Education) Mamun Ahmed, Treasurer Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Arts Siddiqur Rahman Khan, Dean of the Faculty of Science Abdus Salam, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences Rasheda Irshad Nasir, Convener of the Provost Standing Committee Salimullah Muslim Hall Principal Abdullah Al Mamun, Acting Registrar of the University Munshi Shams Uddin Ahmed, Director of Accounts Saiful Islam, College Inspector (Acting) Amjad Hossain Shishir are present in the meeting.

On the other hand, the principals of seven colleges are present.
