Each station is under intelligence surveillance: Rab

Commander Arafat Islam, director of the legal and media wing of the Rapid Action Battalion (Rab), stated that, on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, Rab's intelligence surveillance is ongoing at every station to ensure the safety of people traveling home for the holiday.

After visiting Kamalapur railway station on Thursday (June 13), Commander Arafat Islam made these statements to the journalists.

He said, "There is intelligence surveillance against the black ticket market gangs. In the future, this black ticket market will no longer exist."

He also said, "The Rab intelligence team is operational at every railway station to ensure a safe Eid journey. We have implemented mobile tracking. This time, 100% of long-distance tickets were sold online. Additionally, 25% of tickets without seats are being sold on the day of travel."

"We have watch towers, control rooms, and mobile teams stationed at bus terminals, launch terminals, and railway stations. Any complaints will be promptly addressed." the Rab official added.
