Educational institutions to be closed for 7 more days due to heat wave
A severe heat wave is blowing over the country during the past few days. In this situation, considering the health and safety of students, the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education has decided to close all educational institutions till April 27.
Education Minister Muhibul Hasan Chowdhury informed the media about this decision on Saturday (April 20) afternoon.
He said according to the new decision, schools and colleges will open on April 28.

The Parents' Union Forum demanded to extend the holiday of educational institutions for another seven days amid the ongoing severe heat wave.
The forum leaders said the country's educational institutions will open on Sunday (April 21) after spending 26 consecutive days of combined holidays including Eid-ul-Fitr. But intense heat wave is flowing over the country at present. Heat alert has also been issued in some districts of the country. In the capital, everyone's suffering immensely due to the scorching heat.
