Eid Day to experience sweltering heat: Met Office

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department said that the temperature will rise again from April 10.

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department said that the wind of relief will blow in the next three days compared to the last few days. After these three days i.e. from April 10, the weather forecast has informed that the temperature will rise again across the country.

Meteorologist Md Bajlur Rashid of the Bangladesh Meteorological Department confirmed the matter. He said, "The intense heat waves flowing over Chuadanga and Pabna districts will reduce somewhat. The temperature of the entire country will decrease. From April 10, the temperature will start to rise again across the country. As such, there is no chance of rain on the day of Eid. As a result, Eid Day will experience sweltering Heat."

The weather forecast for the next 24 hours from 9 am on Sunday said that rain/thunder with rain/thunderstorms may occur at some places of Dhaka, Mymensingh, Sylhet, Khulna, Barisal, and Chattogram divisions and two places of Rajshahi and Rangpur divisions, as well as at some places.

Scattered hailstorms may occur in some places. Day temperatures may drop by (2-3) degrees Celsius and night temperatures may drop slightly across the country.
