Eid special train services to begin from Wednesday
Bangladesh Railway has announced the operation of 20 special trains to ease the journey for people returning home for Eid-ul-Azha. These trains, known as "Eid Special" trains, will commence their services starting from Wednesday (June 12).
This information stems from the Eid action plan devised by Bangladesh Railway.
As per the action plan, "Chandpur Eid Special" trains (1, 2, 3, and 4) will operate on the Chattogram-Chandpur-Chattogram route for seven days starting from June 12, in celebration of Eid-ul-Azha. Simultaneously, "Dewanganj Eid Special" trains (5 & 6) will run on the Dhaka-Dewanganj-Dhaka route, "Mymensingh Eid Special" trains on the Chattogram-Mymensingh-Chattogram route (7 & 8), and "Cox's Bazar Eid Special" trains on the Chittagong-Cox's Bazar-Chittagram route (8 & 9). These trains will run from Wednesday until the day before Eid, as well as for seven days after Eid.
Additionally, "Parvatipur Eid Special" trains (15 & 16) will operate on the Joydevpur-Parvatipur-Joydevpur route from June 13th to 15th (3 days) before Eid, and from June 21st to 23rd (3 days) after Eid.
