Faisal murder in Pallabi: Teen gang leader among 5 arrested

Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) on Friday night arrested five people, including the prime suspect in the sensational Faisal murder case in capital's Pallabi.

The arrestees are - Leader Akash, Galkata Rabbi, Imran, Rusel Kazi and Nayan (25). According to information provided by Rabbi and Akash, a blood-stained knife used in the murder and a domestic weapon were recovered from a garden adjacent to the crime scene.

Commander Khandaker Al Moin, director of the Legal and Media Wing of the Rapid Action Battalion (Rab), said, "Rab-4 conducted separate operations in Narsingdi and Gazipur on Friday (March 22) night and arrested them based on specific complaints and intelligence activities."

"Details will be informed later through a press conference," he added.
