Fire at Manoshi Plaza in Farmgate brought under control
A fire broke out in the basement of the Manoshi Plaza building in capital's Farmgate on Saturday morning. It has now been brought under control.
According to Lima Khanom, the duty officer at the Fire Service control room, the fire broke out in the basement of the Manoshi Plaza building in Farmgate at around 9:20 am on Saturday.
The basement of the building contains a branch of Mercantile Bank, which holds many important documents. The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage are still unknown.
Five fire units were swiftly deployed to the scene and managed to bring the fire under control. No injuries or casualties have been reported.
