Fire at Tejgaon truck stand garage brought under control

A fire that erupted in a garage at the Tejgaon truck stand in Dhaka on Sunday morning was quickly extinguished, according to the Fire Service. Three Fire Service units worked for approximately half an hour to bring the blaze under control.

The Fire Service received reports of the fire at 8:05 AM on Sunday morning and arrived at the scene by 8:10 AM to begin efforts to control the blaze.

According to Fire Service sources, the fire began at a garage near the Tejgaon truck stand, which was actually a shop. Six trucks parked in the garage were destroyed in the blaze.
