Fire breaks out at Manoshi Plaza in Farmgate
A fire has erupted in the basement of the Manoshi Plaza building in capital's Farmgate. Five fire units are actively working to contain the flames.
Lima Khanom, the duty officer at the Fire Service control room, confirmed the incident around 2:00 pm on Saturday.
She said, "A fire broke out in the basement of the Manoshi Plaza building in Farmgate around 9:20 am today. Upon receiving the report, five fire units rushed to the scene and began working to control the fire."
"The basement of the building contains a branch of Mercantile Bank, which holds many important documents. These documents are being destroyed in the fire. The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage are still unknown. So far, there have been no reports of any casualties," she added.
