Fire breaks out at sawmill in Khilgaon

A fire broke out at a sawmill and car garage at Taltala Bazar of Khilgaon in the capital. Eight units of the fire service are working to douse the fire.

The fire service received a report of the fire around 7:30pm on Friday (February 21).

Fire Service Duty Officer Rashed Bin Khalid said, “A fire broke out in a two-storey sawmill and a garage next to it in Khilgaon. Eight units are working to control the fire. Three more units are on their way. Initially, the cause of the fire and the extent of the damage were not known. There were no reports of casualties in the fire.”
