Fires at Kawran Bazar, Dholaikhal under control

The fires that erupted in the generator room next to the La Vinci Hotel at Kawran Bazar in the capital and the fire at Mutual Trust Bank on the second floor of the four-storey building in Dholaikhal area have been brought under control.

The fires in these two places in the capital erupted on Saturday (May 18) morning.

Five fire service units worked to control the fire at La Vinci Hotel in Kawran Bazar. On the other hand, four units of fire service worked to control the fire at Mutual Trust Bank in Dholaikhal.

The initial cause of the fire and whether there were any casualties is not yet known, said the fire service authorities.
