A truck and a private car collided in Sylhet, leaving five people dead. The accident took place around 7:30 am on Sunday (February 2) at Unish Mile in Osmaninagar Upazila. Two individuals lost their lives at the scene, while three others died from their injuries at the hospital. Circle SP (Osmaninagar-Bishwanath) Ashrafuzzaman (PPM) confirmed the matter. One of the deceased remains unidentified, while the other four have been identified as Suhel (40), Shamima (40), Iti Begum (35), and Ayan (7) from Amilla village in Rupganj Upazila, Narayanganj.

সিলেটে ট্রাক ও প্রাইভেটকারের সংঘর্ষে পাঁচজনের প্রাণহানির ঘটনা ঘটেছে। রোববার (২ ফেব্রুয়ারি) সকাল সাড়ে ৭টার দিকে ওসমানীনগর উপজেলায় উনিশ মাইল নামক স্থানে এ দুর্ঘটনা ঘটে। নিহতদের মধ্যে একজনের পরিচয় এখনো পাওয়া যায়নি। তবে বাকি চারজন হলেন- নারায়ণগঞ্জের রূপগঞ্জ থানার আমইল্লা গ্রামের সুহেল (৪০), শামীমা (৪০), ইতি বেগম (৩৫) ও আয়ান (৭)। পুলিশ জানায়, &nbsp;দুর্ঘটনাস্থলেই দুইজনের এবং হাসপাতালে আরও তিনজনের মৃত্যুর খবর পাওয়া গেছে। হতাহতের বিষয়টি নিশ্চিত করেছেন সার্কেল এসপি (ওসমানীনগর-বিশ্বনাথ) আশরাফুজ্জামান (পিপিএম)।
