Foreign ship carrying goods for metro rail reaches Mongla

Panama flag-bearing ship MV Precious Coral has arrived at Bagerhat's Mongla Port carrying goods for with Metrorail.

The ship arrived at Jetty No-7 of Mongla Port On Wednesday (March 13). Earlier, MV Precious Coral left for Mongla port carrying 578 metric tonnes of goods for the Metrorail project from Japan, said Mahabub Alam Hero, manager (operations) of the ship's local shipping agent Ancient.

These machinery products of the Metrorail in the ship will be unloaded at the port jetty and taken to the Diabari metro rail project area by sea and road, he added.
